As a part of the OSTI leadership team, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with, learn from, and lead some very special individuals. I have always been impressed with our staff’s dedication to patients, and that dedication motivates me to lead by example and ensure that each patient has the best therapy experience possible. It is important to me to convey OSTI’s values through action and make sure each employee knows they are a valued, integral part of our success.

  • Graduated from Eureka College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and major in Athletic Training in 2003
  • Graduated from Northern Prairie School of Massage Therapy in 2005
  • Graduated from Black Hawk College with an Associates in Science, Physical Therapy Assistant program in 2009

I Particularly enjoy working with sport related injuries. I also enjoy working with work hardening patients.

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University and a minor in Gerontology in 1999
  • Became board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2007
  • Graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Evidence in Motion in 2014.

Professional Interests

I enjoy treating all kinds of musculoskeletal disorders by using therapeutic exercise and hands on techniques, including ASTYM, Kinesiotaping, and Strain/Counterstrain muscle and fascia relaxation techniques. I also have a special interest in treating running injuries.

My passion is working with the pediatric population from age ranges from birth up to the teenage years. I also like working with the orthopedic population and helping people get back on their feet and back to participating in hobbies they enjoy.

  • State Licensed Certified Athletic Trainer.
  • Member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA).

Professional Interests

Working with young athletes has become my true passion. I believe providing a high standard of care through prevention, recognition, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries helps our students grow as athletes and as people. If we help our athletes give 100% to their sport, we can teach them to give 100% to whatever they dedicate themselves to after high school.
