  • Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) in the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Approach in 2015

Professional Interests

My passion for healing and physical therapy began with my own personal experience as an athlete and outdoors enthusiast. With my COMT, I specialize in treating all orthopedic conditions by combining hands-on treatment with personalized exercises to meet each individual’s needs. I enjoy working with people of all ages, especially athletes and weekend warriors.

  • Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University in 1995.
  • Graduated from St. Ambrose University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011.

Professional Interests

I enjoy differential diagnosis and determining the underlying factors that contribute to a patient’s condition. I also enjoy education and teaching new movement patterns to allow patients to improve their condition through awareness of how movement influences recovery.

I enjoy the orthopedic setting and helping patients get back to feeling better with less pain. I look forward to continuing my education with a focus in the field of orthopedic outpatient care!

  • Graduated with a Master of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University in Physical Education and Exercise Science in 2004.
  • State Licensed Certified Athletic Trainer.

It is my responsibility to provide athletes with a high standard of care through the prevention, recognition, management, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries. My personal goal is to ensure that my athletes are able to participate safely, as well as enable them to excel in their given sport. The outcome of the game does not matter; the athletes are what matter.
